We are constantly exposed to the city, pollution, stress, fast food, sedentary office life, industrial pastries, and, in general, pre-cooked products whose origins and production methods we barely know… This is what modern man has become: a kind of machine with everything planned down to the smallest detail, hardly enjoying nature or the outdoors. To break free from this, BIOCantabria appears.
Our body appreciates a break, occasionally consuming organic products, discovering healthier habits, and making consumption choices that are, whenever possible, more responsible. At Biosurfcamp, we have practiced the Bio lifestyle since the camp’s inception, with an organic garden full of products, animals, and abundant surrounding nature that brings us peace. We have various fruit trees, many trees around our facilities, and a large meadow for practicing yoga, stretching, or functional training classes. It’s always enjoyable to be surrounded by people who share our interests. On April 13th, 14th, and 15th, the Palacio de Exposiciones in Santander will host a fair dedicated to the Bio world.

The fair focuses mainly on ecological topics in the food sector, but it also includes other sectors such as cosmetics, clothing, footwear, transportation, renewable energies, and construction.
The schedule of activities and conferences is available on the event’s website and at the bottom of this article. There are many activities tailored to our varied interests. The program is divided into two main groups: the first consists of talks in the conference room with different experts from the sector, and the second includes Bio workshops inside a Dome—a type of bioconstruction that we use at Biosurfcamp as shared dormitories.
Throughout the weekend, we can enjoy talks on how to keep our skin more hydrated with organic products, the importance of omega-3, and novel topics like Ozone Therapy. We can also participate in workshops on pottery, natural hair coloring, and cooking with organic products.
